BrainStorm Platform Preview - Landing Page Copy

This landing page served as a hub for BrainStorm's soft launch of a new educational platform. BrainStorm launched a preview of the platform on a limited basis to current customers. I worked with the marketing team to craft excited, fresh messaging that conveyed changes to the platform's design and functionality and the benefits of previewing the new platform. This landing page served to generate excitement about signing up to use the preview ahead of the platform's launch. I wrote and edited copy for this preview landing page as well as a shareable fact sheet with a condensed version of the same information.

The Tender Satire of Gregory Barnes’ The Touch of the Master’s Hand

Gregory Barnes’ The Touch of the Master’s Hand is a Mormon movie, a twelve-minute short about a young missionary ashamed of his masturbation habit. It premiered at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival and won the Short Film Jury Award for U.S. Fiction. I interviewed Greg, condensed our conversation for clarity, then worked with editor Clement Obropta to fine-tune this piece.

Narrative Bio for Alyssa Pyper

Experimental folk musician Alyssa Pyper and I are both members of indie record label Song Club Records, and in preparation for her first album release I worked with her on a narrative bio that we sent to journalists and music critics. We used images of the Great Salt Lake and recurring lyrical motifs from her album to craft a powerful introduction to listeners that represents Alyssa's dynamic musical style.

Delicious Descriptions for Gluten-Free Treats

At Mariposa I did everything from frosting gingerbread cookies to purchasing ingredients to analyzing recipes to email and product marketing. With my coworker Ava Lindemaier, I undertook a comprehensive update of all Mariposa's product descriptions, editing older ones and writing from-scratch for Mariposa's newer offerings. This lemon cake description is a personal favorite.
